Workflow

Create the required support height and mounting pattern for your assembly

Feet, spacers and standoffs are controlled by a small set of measurable interfaces. PurCad turns height, footprint, hole and fastener requirements into versioned CAD whose dimensions and geometry can be inspected before export.

Define both contact faces and the fastener

Measure the required separation, available footprint, screw or bolt diameter and any counterbore or captive-nut space. State whether the part carries compression, locates an assembly or only prevents surface contact.

Build the axial interface first

Generate the base profile, height and central mounting feature before adding ribs, chamfers or anti-slip details. Keep height, outside diameter and hole size as named parameters so variants can be created without rewriting the design.

Check height, contact area and connected geometry

Measure overall height and both contact faces, inspect the fastener path and confirm the result is the intended number of connected bodies. Export a STEP file for assembly work or STL and 3MF for a physical fit test.

Geometry alone does not establish load capacity

Material, print orientation, buckling and sustained compression determine how a support behaves. PurCad does not certify load capacity. Test structural or safety-relevant supports with the intended material, fastener and load case.
